yea, for real, i wanna see it.
here is the hit but they don't show any of the scrum... There wasn't really much to the fight. Petro was skating by Ott and Ott went after him expecting a fight. Petro didn't really do much.

I hope Colaiacovo is alright, he had a career year last season once he got the St. Louis and looked to finally past the injury stage, I hope he doesn't miss that much action.

That actually looks pretty clean to me. The rule of thumb is two strides, and Ott was already closing that when Coliacovo got rid of the puck. Whether the hit was too low or whatever is a different argument but this wasn't a late hit. Let 'em play.

Probably the coolest part of the game. Walt was dragging about 5 guys there to get his paws on Ott.

The problem with the hit... the first contact by Ott is skate-on-skate. That's tripping, not a clean hip check. Ott leads with his skate.

Freeze that video at 13 seconds. It's pretty doggone blatant.

Wow! A Coliacovo fan! From Toronto!

And, eek, I hope that wasn't a career year... because while it was decent, if that's his peak then that's not good.

That was a peak season thus far in his career due it being the first season he spent not getting injured.

Now King's roster spot should be replaced with the likes of Armstrong or Stastny. Colaiacovo is a puck moving Dman so he needs to be replaced with Junland, not Strachan. I have no problem with Strachan, but he is not a puck mover. Of course knowing Colaiacovo, he will be back next game. IF Junland gets passed over too much i could see him leaving next season to go back to sweden.

Why do you need to call up Junland for that? Petro could take Colaiacovo's spot and Strachan is taking Jackman's spot.

Calaiacovo was playing with Petro, So there would be room for both. Just to give Junland another taste and let him know that he is still on the radar. And his play in peoria hasnt gone unnoticed. It wouldnt be a move out of necessity. Either way CC will be back next game.

I think if Coliacovo was going to miss any games we would have heard about it by now.

Not to sound like goon, but if the Blues don't answer the bell against teams that play physical like dallas did then we're in for a LONG season.
