per JR.

Not sure if you guys have been following JR’s last few Morning Skates or not, but the Blues felt that Eller and other young forwards were “not ready” for a call-up and Armstrong had been battling the flu in recent days. Also the Blues had promised Stastny and his agent that if he was the best player in Peoria, they would recall him first.

I rarely miss a Morning Skate Blog from JR. He is the bestest!

As far as Yan goes, it would behoove him to make a solid impression on coaching and management this time around or I fear he will end up in the 'not so hallowed' fraternity that includes such notables as Sean Pronger, Brian Gretzky, Brett Lindros, Steve Kariya, etc.

So no other teams wanted him at even half his salary?

I just feel that at this point, Stastny is a lost cause and give anyone else a shot. I mean, we still have Regier and Paddock right? I didn't absolutely hate them last year.
