Okay party people, break them out if you got 'em! Don't be hatin' on those that do!
Discuss the St. Louis Blues, the NHL, or whatever.

I'll give you $750 for it!SIU LAW wrote:Jealous? I don’t blame you.
Heck, just use a wiffle ball bat.SIU LAW wrote:Are you saying that I should hit Brewer with a basball bat? Is that what you are trying to say?deadphish wrote:I hate to say this, but that dude is gonna get hit and be done forever.
You read between the lines well, my friend. A good one right to the middle of the back should take care of it.SIU LAW wrote:Are you saying that I should hit Brewer with a basball bat? Not to worry. SIU Law is gonna pull a Nancy Kerrigan on him.northwest dave wrote:Pretty amazing Brewer is back. I thought his career was over. Kudos to him.
Certainly his expectations are much lower than that of replacing Pronger.
Wow. Just, wow. I am not sure where you came from, but I hope you soon return to there.Battra wrote:I for one am glad to see the Captain back in the line up.
I'm also glad that certain posters are obsessed with me.
That makes me feel important.
My Brewer gamer is white and has no C or A unfortunately...which is disappointing.
SIU LAW, what gamers do you have?

Brewer is a slug. Unless his terrible play was solely the result of lingering injury issues, there is no reason to believe he will be any better now - particularly as he "shakes off the rust" from a long layoff from game-speed action.
The fact that he would see his first game action with the big club is a sign that Murray is a complete joke. A. Complete. Joke.

Hoping he gets hurt again? It shouldn't take more than a period. A month ago he couldn't lift a small child. Now he's supposed to perform at an NHL level? Scratch that. He's never performed at an NHL level. Let's just hope his turnovers don't result in any goals tonight. Is that setting the bar too high?philco_3 wrote:I will hold my breathe on this one.

I believe he deserves a fair shot here, but if he bombs tonight people are going to be all over him, which I disagree with since he's been out almost a full year. I'm not even a Brewer fan. I don't think he's brings as much to the team as management and the coaching staff say he does, and that's why I get frustrated with the guy. This guy couldn't win since the day he got here because of the Pronger trade, and it's only been made worse the more praise and responsibility that's been heaped on him when most fans believed that he didn't deserve it.
I'll give him a chance though. He's went through a lot trying to get back here, so he deserves at least that much, in my opinion.
