Oshie
Eller
Berglund
Perron
Johnson
Pietrangelo

Am I missing someone?
Kariya?
Brewer...wait who would be that dumb to draft him first...

Eller plays 2 shifts- just enough for the Upper Deck guys to get shots for the rookie card set and for TSN and St. Louis newspaper people to get their action shots in.

Until the Blues prove me wrong, I'm being pessimistic.

Blues 2
Flames 4

And just to spite me in my fantasy team, EJ and Berglund will do nothing.

You still have Berglund on your fantasy team? Why?
I drafted him late and dropped him a week into the season.
A fantasy player Berglund is not...at least not right now anyway.

I got Stastny (Paul), Weiss, Oshie and Berglund for Centers. I guess I'm still hoping for good things but you're probably right that I should dump him

Ryan Malone has been kicking @$$ for me though but he's streaky and I think I've gotten the best of his hot streak that he's going to have this season.

Eller will score in one of his first 3 shifts. My prediction.

As for the score, Blues 4-3.

Goals scored by the aforementioned Eller, as well as Perron, Backes, and Oshie.

Awesome - Brewer knocks the puck into our own net for a Flames goal.

Brewer is TERRIBLE. But he'll get 25 minutes tonight.

Maybe Cam will get tired of it and beat him senseless.

The powerplay looks terrible. You can't stand around and expect to score.

Can't even score 5-on-3. This team is SCREAMING for a major shake-up before the season gets out of hand.

Well at least the offense doesn't suck. And then Regeier gets away with a cross-check AND gets to deliver an ass kicking.

This season blows.

Not a single decent scoring chance on that 5-3.

Alright, I'm onboard with the "Fire Murray" people.

Something has to be done, this team is just spinning its wheels right now. Championship teams always knock on the door before they kick it in, this is to be our 'knock' season. If we can't make the playoffs and make some noise, it's almost like hitting the reset button on the rebuild.

That's unacceptable. Time to move forward.

It's just unfathomable to me that they can look so lethargic. It's as if on those 5-3 chances they had never been on one. No rushing the net, no attempts to force a long rebound, etc. Even a 'tard like me could make that happen.

See, I thought they've had a number of chances tonight... just not burying them.....

I don't know. I guess you can consider a clean shot from the point a "chance," but I think the real chance comes on how you play the after effect. Those shots rarely go in, you have to get something on the rebound. I didn't see any effort on that front.

I was about to say that I was too cynical, but the Flames just put on a clinic on how to manage the rebound. Good deflection saves this from being 2-0.

Teh Brewer, Eric will lead us to the cup. Forget playing these young guys who skate with all that energy and stuff. Triple-shift Brewer and Sydor and get Bernie's skates sharpened. LET'S DO THIS!

Hard work by Eller drawing the penalty! :)

5th PP for the Blues
