Has Paul Kariya been mentioned?
Discuss the St. Louis Blues, the NHL, or whatever.

Well, my main reason for him being considered the worst was a five-hole the size of the Eiffel Tower. He was a cool guy, just bleh skillz. He has a really inspiring backstory after he left STL, some sort of accident, sickness, or something and he wasn't supposed to be able to play hockey again.gaijin wrote:As for McClennan, I never minded him. He was a backup, and perhaps an average one at that, but I don't recall anything that would make me consider him one of the worst. His stock with me actually rose a little bit when he was playing with Calgary, and Detroit kept interfering with the goalie. So they put in McClennan, and whenever Holmstrom (or whomever it was) started messing with him, McClennan just whacked the piss out of him with his stick and took the ejection for the team. My first thought was "Good for him."
Brent Johnson had at least a good playoff run and a few winning streaks. Patrick Lalime sucked every game he was with us. Definitely Lalime.SIU LAW wrote:
It’s hard pick between Brent Johnson and Patrick Lalime.
I think it really depends on the system that his team plays. If you remember, he was horrid in his stint with Colorado too. Then he goes to Nashville and plays pretty well for an aging winger, then comes here and sucks again. Although this time I don't even see his feet moving.xbleed83bluex wrote:Does anyone know what happened to Kariya's game? He was the best player in league at one point. A 50-goal scorer. An all-star. He is nothing like he was when he was with the Ducks, and he's not even that old. Sundin still scored goals up until he retired. I thought we'd at least get 20+ goals from Kariya. What happened to this guy's abilities?!

I'm late on this one, but that just made me lol my ass off.Bernie Federko wrote:

I still wouldn't say he's the worst ALL TIME. Per how he's playing though, he may be the most OVER PRICED player in recent Blues history..WaukeeBlues wrote:If it makes you feel any better, nobody is able to find the back of the net on this team so it's not just him.STLADOGG wrote:Hey Kariya is off limits =/ he is still a beast
PK has been very good the last few games. I officially retract this snarky (but accurate at the time) post.BF44 wrote:Has Paul Kariya been mentioned?
Hey, Eric Boguniecki looked great for a stretch of a couple of games too.BF44 wrote:PK has been very good the last few games. I officially retract this snarky (but accurate at the time) post.BF44 wrote:Has Paul Kariya been mentioned?
