This doesn't really make a lot of sense if you think about it. You root for a win, regardless. To hope for failure just to get the coach canned is dumb. If the team suddenly goes on a winning streak do you curse them because you still want Murray gone? Doubtful. Most likely Murray would be awesome again.

another loss...another game to call for Murray's head, another lame ass excuse to blame it on Brewer.

Call for Murray's head all you want...it's up to the players to execute whatever the game plan is. It's not the coach when the team isn't executing whatever plan it may be, when you're getting outworked, beaten to the puck, when you're knocked off the puck every time you bring it into the zone, and when you can't get shots on goal....

It's not just one player's fault that a goal is scored, regardless of wether it goes off his skate, ass, or he knocks it in himself. What led to that goal being scored? Who could have cleared it out? Who could have made a better pass out of the zone? I'm not defending Brew, but I don't want everyone to blame him constantly when NO ONE has called out EJ for being out of position CONSTANTLY or Sydor playing up when he doesn't have the speed to get back to defend when he coughs it up.

I have a feeling Steen is close to coming back, and when he doesn, I'm going to be glad to see no Cam...

And on that note that made me smile, I think I'll change my prediction...

Blues 4 (Walt emerges from nowhere with 2 ppg's, Backes, Weaver-because he needs a freaking goal)

That makes such little sense my head just exploded. You're pretty much saying every team's "game plan" is equally just as good as any other teams. Winning hockey games is based off who executes the game plan better. It has nothing to do with skilled players and there can't be different degrees of "game plans". One team's game plan can't be better than another?

Probably should have said that better....

I'm not saying it's as good or better....what I am saying is that he's not the one on the ice. Yeah, his system blows for skilled players and it needs to change, but when the team is getting outworked, no system can change that...period...

Nobody is calling out EJ because he is one of the few bright spots on the team this year. If he is out of position, it's because he is skating up into the play in the offensive zone trying to make something happen. Every time I see him skate and shift through two or three players to shoot 10 feet from the net, I can't help but think, thats what Brian Leetch looked like 20 years ago and it brings a smile to my face.

He's young and going to make some mistakes but he's the one part of the team I'm completely happy with. On that note.

I suppose this is the pivotal game of the year. Either the players are going to respond or changes will start to happen. Can't trade 18 players, so Murray might be let go if this team doesn't show a spark. And even then, JD and Pleau might make a move or two with or without Murray.

I'm going to root for them (I couldn't even fathom not rooting for them), but I still want Murray out of there. I'm afraid if we start winning, his job becomes even more secure. We proved that we can win under Murray, but he is not the coach that will take this team to the Stanley Cup. No way, no how (more gazing into my crystal ball ).
