It’s not his play with the puck that’s bothering me (he’s always been overrated at that)
Are you watching the other defensemen with the same microscope? Everyone of the blues dman makes the same 'mistakes'.

And I really could care less if Brewer stays or goes...I just think people are quick to blame him for everything when he's played pretty well.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

If leading the team on the negative side of plus/minus is good, how do you define bad? Yes, it's one stat. But that's even strength goals against with that defeneseman on the ice. He's been directly responsible for at least 3 of them with bad defensive decisions. How is it he's not there when the puck stays in the offensive zone in even strength situations? He plays enough, it should balance out. Yet it doesn't. Win-Loss record was very good pre-Brewer this season and has gone south since his return. last season win-loss record was so-so with Brewer, then took off once he was injured. Coincidence the team wins more without him in two separate seasons???? I doubt it.

The point is it is ridiculous that we have threads bashing brewer when this team is having a complete lack of scoring. How is that brewers fault? But I have said this mutliple times and it falls on deaf ears, the brewer hate is really blindig some people. We would probably be undefeated if it wasn't for brewer And averaging 6 goals a night, god brewer is such a douche.

We were 5-4-1 before brewer I would hardly call one game above.500 a very good record. And snce brewer is obviously the reason we are struggling, what has he been doing that has stifled our scoring so much?

who gives a shit about Brewer right now? The coach is who is bringing the team down.

:plusplus: You sir should win the smartest fan award.

I hate Brewer as much as the next guy, but this team is underachieving BIG TIME. If we played half of what our potential is, we would be second or third in the division. That problem falls in the coach who constantly plays the players that aren't producing (i.e. Paul Kariya).

This. The HATE is really making some people miss the point.

I also wish that someone could uninvent the plus/minus stat. Did anyone ever think that even though we have one of the top GA averages in the league that our complete lack of scoring could be hurting some players plus/minus stat????
