I don't want to jump to any conclusions here, but I think the turnaround is beginning...

8 points in 5 games? I'll take it.

Good things:

Backes is warming up
Kariya finally scored and looked decent, though he still need to re-learn to pass no a 2v1. Isn't he supposed to be a playmaker?
Pretty disciplined game, except for Cola's stupid ass shooting the puck over the glass.
Cola standing up for Mason after he let someone almost decapitate him.

Bad things:

still can't play 60 minutes. WTF?!
Sydor clearing the puck across the crease. Are you (Franking) kidding me with this?
Wasted a shit ton of chances, including 3 PRIME shorthanded opportunities. Just can't finish.

Mason saves the day once again, though he's been looking a bit shakier recently and just can't nab that shutout.

I'd have to agree. This Blues team now looks like the team from last year's 2nd half. :letsgoblues:

I'll take shaky if it means 1 goal against on 38 shots.

Murray is buying time. I don't love it and still think the team would be better off in the long run (and maybe even short run) with a different coach, but I'm not going to complain with W's.

Sure thing, but I'm comparing the last few games to the lights-out play he gave us the games before that. We wasted all that incredible goal tending early on in the season, and now Mason is cooling off. He's still a champ, but he's started to let in softies and misplay the puck. It's a good thing the offense is heating up at the right time.

You're aware of the fact that the Blues won the game, yes?

If the Blues lose, it's Murray's fault. If the Blues win, it's not because of Murray.

It's not rocket science....

(oh, btw, I'm highly confused by this theory as well)

Blues 1
Predators 2 or 3

:-(

BTW: Can we trade Tkachuk for Sullivan? Straight up, I'd take it.
No...... oh by the way 4 outta 5!!

Big deal. Still not using the right players. Perron with 12 minutes? The kid is the biggest offensive star on the team.
