Last Season with Brewer: .91ppg
Last Season w/o Brewer: 1.20ppg
This Season with Brewer: .96ppg
This Season w/o Brewer: 1.17

I generally would say that one player's affect on a team isn't enough to make that big of a swing. But Brewer does play 20+ minutes a night, a significant amount, and is a -22 in 40 games over the last 2 seasons. Considering that 3 of the 4 wins that the Blues have had since Brewer's injury have been by one goal, I'm not positive that his absence hasn't played a part in helping the Blues win.
How am I supposed to be the forum's lone staunch Murray supporter with people posting statistics like that?????????

I'm sure if I was bored I could dig into the statistics enough to make a case why Brewer has only helped this team.

That, however, would be a fairly difficult and arduous task that I don't really feel like undertaking. I guess I'm just pointing out that stats can say almost anything you want them to.

Like... how the Blues play better without Brewer than with Brewer, both this season and last, and by a fairly similar breakdown of winning percentage/points per game?

Good point!

The Blues have a winning percentage of .901 on game nights where it is either a full moon or new moon.

See, it's the moon's fault.

And the Blues are undefeated on nights that I eat Wendy's. But I'm trying not to be a lard-ass, so it's my fault.

Back on the ice, the stats really don't lie about Eric Brewer's real contributions to the Blues.

Well if you had a grilled chicken and skipped the frosty that could work. God knows we need some spark to help us win at home.
