Overall the energy level has been phenomenal, great game overall. Need a big third period. this is the kind of hockey I would gladly pay money to say.

And oh.

"My name is Eric Brewer I like to pinch unnecessarily leaving my defensive partner hung out to dry on a 2 on 1 so that my team can get scored on."

And the Blues have done a pretty poor job of cutting off passing lanes tonight.

At least Payne's getting a good look at the team...Brewer -2 after scoring a goal, Jackman the Human Backboard, and six goals surrendered by Conklin. Time to go to work.

Wow...Cam is so tough that he's gone after BRENT SOPEL in two consecutive games.

Remember when Sopel was the toughest guy on the Canucks?

Maybe he should wear a skirt out there so Cam knows that he shouldn't hit him.

That's a brutal way to score a goal when you're losing by 4....

Tough loss but I liked the energy. The team was fun to watch. I'd love to see David Backes as our new captain. Everyone knows why Brewer sucks, but Backes just seems to embody the type of play and leadership that this team needs. Maybe we can get a change at coach and captain!

I about lost it when I saw Brewer pinching and then- surprise surprise, the Hawks turned it into a 2 on 1 that scored.

Blues were HORRIFIC at taking away passing lanes all damn night. They never adjusted. The Hawks were putting on a f*cking clinic on where to put the puck. I think McClement was the only one that got his stick on a passing-lane feed all night... and Sharp scored anyway.

Janssen- Yes, the Blues faithful understands that your only purpose is to stir things up. But when your team is losing by 4, you trying to "stir things up" just kinda makes you look like a jack ass. Just sayin. To be fair, you got us a power play late though.

I for one am very disappointed that Kane was let off the hook so easily for his summer stupidity. I fully expected to see at least a couple giant-sized dimes in the audience. Nothing.

I miss the old Arena, and the taunting of the Blackhawks from the minute the doors opened until we got to our car parked on Oakland near Tamm St. SECORD SUCKS!!!!!!!!

You missed all the action from 322 then...

Game sucked from sooo many angles its not even funny...7 minute power play...about the only highlight that I like was the passion from Perron taking Campbell to the ice and keeping his face down in it.

Good point...im sick of having Brewer the face of the team its really a disgrace to every blue that has ever worn the "C". But If I had to choos a new captain I would probabl go with Tkachuk or Kariya but you can't really go wrong with Backes its like 50-50 backes and Tkachuk, Kariya is the wild card lol...but take the "A" off of Jackman and put it on Backes....hes earned it

To be fair...Sopel crosschecked Cam pretty good while he was getting up...twice.

Sopel deserved to take a beating for it.

Two goofy goals go in off of Jackman. One off of his rear end and the other off of his skate and goes upper corner. Sheesh.

Conklin wasn't good tonight. He let in some softies.

The Hawks did a good job of getting their sticks in the passing lanes. They intercepted a truckload of passes tonight.

The PP looked good at times...but... :notenough:

The 2nd half of the game sucked compared to the 1st half.

Weaver destroyed that Hawks player (name escapes me) at center ice. You won't see a better open ice hit than that.

Hope Walt's ok...that looked nasty. :aaaa:

No joke. If you're down by a few late, I say rough 'em up.

If you're going to come into our house and beat us like that, just so you know, you're going to be black and blue afterwords.

That should be the attitude.
