Steen, Oshie and McDonald score for the blues in a close victory. And dish collects half of buffalo wild wings' profits in exchange for forcing its users out of their homes.

Blues played a good 1st period and got a PPG from Perron, which is the 1st PPG the "Rangas" gave up this year, so far?? (1 of 24 kills - or something like that).

Anyway, good intensity and I just want to see them keep that up for at least another 40 minutes! And they're keeping Gaborik off the scoresheet - always a plus!

I loved the Polak goal, nice to see an immediate shot off the blue line instead of settling the puck and getting off a crap effort.

Towards the end there on the Rags PP, was wondering why he (drury, I think) didn't shoot. He had a wide open lane.

Solid win. Good to know they took this game seriously. That's a big plus. They could have thought "hey we won a few... let's party" and easily lost this one. But they sacked up and got the 2 points. Winning on home ice should always be a priority. This franchise needs to protect their barn like an armed, drunken Texan on his own ranch. It should be a source of pride to always protect home ice. hatred of losing and love of winning need to be equally strong. It must be fanatical.

I sense a new attitude and a winning record for the rest of the year, goaltending permitting.

It was a sarcastic comment directed at the presence of -C-. Talk about needing to set up the sarcasm alarm....
