Our power play didn't do us any favors either.

Captain America is the reason why we didn't win in Canada.

NBC is such big fans of F*&$ing things up, how about......

Late Night with Eric Brewer, and Jackman can be the band leader.

Oh, and with that great voice, Murray can do the introductions.

With the way NBC is trowing around buy out money, it shouldn't cost us a dime.

A few things...

- How can the worst power play in the league go 3 for 4 against the best road penalty kill unit? Embarrassing.

- This game was poorly officiated. Horrible. The Blues got hosed big time on two calls. I think it was in the 2nd period, Perron was badly interfered with when he was chasing a Senator behind the net. An Ottawa defenseman stepped right in his way and Perron collided into him which took him out of the play. Perron threw his hands up at the ref, but no call. It was a textbook pick and it was let go. Awful. Also, the obviously horrible call on Oshie that led to the game winning PP goal for Ottawa. Oshie was called for the trip while the Blues were on the PP when he fell down and the Senator player tried to jump over Oshie and fell over him. One of the worst calls I have seen in a long time. I'm not sure how that call can be made late in the 3rd period. Awful.

- The Blues power play stunk. That's all.

- Jannsen's fight was a good one. He was outweighed and had a shorter reach, but he did well. Jannsen's fights are marathons, which seems to see the other guy eventually tire out and then Jannsen does his damage later in the fight while telling the linesmen to stay away. Hilarious.

- Ottawa deserved to win that game. They played much better than the Blues did. With that said, the Blues were in the game right at the end and managed to come back from a two goal deficit, only to have the opportunity at a point or two taken away from them by a horrible call. Yes, the Blues had an opportunity to tie the game on a power play late in the game and failed, but they shouldn't have been trailing in the first place.

- Frustrating game. If I were on the team, I'd want to get back on the ice as soon as possible to take out my frustrations from that game. It would be nice to pound Anaheim on Saturday.

Exactly.

I'm sick of reading how we outplayed them. We didn't even show up for the first period, and then at one point I felt we were playing more evenly in the second only to see them flash up the stat that the Sens had 5 scoring chances thus far in the second and the Blues had nil. Sure we stepped it up for portions of the third, but in the final two we couldn’t get any pressure and hardly got Mason off the ice.

View the game however you want (general statement, not directed at anyone), but if we play like that 5 games in a row, we may walk away with 2 points. We were very lucky they were not on their game wither last night.

The Sens jerseys were awful. Were those their third jerseys? No design, or aesthetic symbol, just the word "SENS" in italic font. Very boring.
