Personally, I think it's because the team still has the young guys that are developing, fans want to be a part of that. This team is more interesting than some in years past (the '06-'07 version comes to mind), even though the team is insanely inconsistent. And they still show flashes of what made them so great down the stretch. This team isn't dead in the water yet. Yes, a long shot. But there's still hope...and my guess is that's what a lot of folks are clinging on to.

All I really worry about the rest of the way is seeing what Payne offers as coach and I want to see the kids grow and improve. I didn’t think the playoffs were a given this year anyways so it’s not as if I’m going to jump overboard now.

20 sale outs? I have been to a bunch of games this year and I have had plenty of elbow room at most of them. I think the club is inflating that number a bit.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'll still watch the game, and I'll probably be in on teh flashchat, but until this team can show me something better than how to generate a warm sensation down one's leg in the third period, I give them a meh.

I have bigger fish to fry than worrying about how badly this team is going to blow another 3rd period lead.

Just because the ticket is sold doesn't necessarily mean you have to go to the game in order to count towards the "sellout."

I've been to quite a few of the weekend games and I'd venture to say they were all soldout. Sure there's spare seats here and there. But the place has mostly been packed.
