They only wore them on Friday because we didn't have home games on those Saturday, I am not looking this up but I am almost 100 percent positive. They only wear them on another day than Saturday when they don't have a home game on Saturday.

2. where do you work that gives you this much time to waste? 10% unemployment? obviously there is one more job that we wouldn't miss

5. whether or not a goalie is good (fuhr) has nothing to do with my point....turek was GREAT...my point was that the blues, with fuhr, began a new policy of building their goaltending through trades, not by developing their own or through breaking in a new one by being backup for a while. for example.......wamsley to millen to reiendeu(spelling?) to joseph to hebert (hebert taken in the expansion draft by the ducks) and then we had jabalonski, but then fuhr came in via trade and it has really been down hill and inconsistent since then as far as keeping a goalie here long term. osgood is another example, so is turek. again, turek was great, for a year, but he literally dropped off the face of the earth. a few year ago, didn't the blues tie or break a record for using the most goalies in a season? due to injuries or not, the policy shift, I BELIEVE, is clear and has had a negative impact.

I dunno, I like knowing that when I make the occasional trip back to the STL I have about a 50% chance of going to a game.

don't get me wrong, the 3rd jersey is nice for what it is, (a 3rd jersey)...but why all the hype anyway? if the jersey is sooooo good, why not make it your primary jersey? it's like raving about who has the best ex-girlfriend, or who has the best pair of sweat pants to wear around the house, or feeling good that your best friend is married to the best looking woman from the south side of town....does it really matter? is that something to be proud of? if you like it because it is simple...think about what you are saying....if simplicity is what you are looking for in a jersey, then go even more simple and just have a jersey with only the blue note on the front...oh wait, then you have the traditional jersey!!

it is nice to be recognized by SI, but it doesn't mean a whole lot

i guess what i'm saying is, i'm not a fan of the 3rd jersey....the silly strings at the neck are for looks and serve no purpose, they are just for decoration...

and i do apologize stocklend for the red wings comment, for that there is not excuse. no one should ever stoop to that level.

Personally, I like the 3rd jerseys...a lot.

But they should never be used as our primary jersey. We have one of the best logos in the league, so that doesn't need to change.

I think in general, this has been the consensus.

Though I have gotten worried because so much of their merchandise and giveaways have been exclusively the ‘Third’ logo.

The 3rd jersey looks sharp & brewer needs to go. Hope that sums it up.
