No reason not to allow DSLR cameras. They probably think it has killer video recording capabilities since they don't allow video cameras. I used to have a nicer Fuji digital camera...looked like an SLR, but it wasn't. I took it to a game once and the ticket taker looked at it and asked if it took video and I said no (I lied).
