30 teams, 5 mins

I failed miserably. but maybe that's because it's 4 am for me now... plus I can't spell.

What made it difficult was, after rattling off a bunch of teams early, having to refer to the list to see which ones I had already put in and using process of elimination.

What I should have done would be to go division by division. It would have gone much smoother.

Got it with 34 left. I tried to do the west first, but got hung up on the last team, moved to the east, nailed it rather quickly and then finally remembered the Wild.

An easy team to forget.

Got it with 1:45 left. The last one was the Hurricanes...couldn't remember them for a bit.

I worked my way across Canada first, then went from West coast to east coast.

Pretty easy.

Got 'em all with 2:30 to go, Should have had it done at the 3 minute mark but got hung up on the Devils.

Uh, this only took me 1:34. This shouldn't be difficult if you're a hockey fan.

Now, if you want an actual challenge, try naming every captain in the league in that same 5 minutes. Note that the quiz is from before the NJ-ATL trade.



I missed only Buffalo and Florida. In Florida's case I had no idea he played for the Panthers, and I guessed both alternates for the Sabres but not the captain himself.

EDIT: Another challenge. Try the names of all 30 NHL arenas. I missed Philly, Edmonton and Florida (are they even an NHL team anymore, and if so, why?). Got the first 27 in like 2:30 and then agonized over the last 3. Had no clue on Florida, but knew Edmonton started with an R and Philly had something to do with a bank... I kept thinking it started with a C though.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK! I got to 29 and had 1:36 to go and couldn't remember the Bruins!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot an original six team!

I got them all, but it took me forever to come up with the Hurricanes. Harder than I expected, especially difficult while listening to the game.

A 15 game winning streak, dominating the news, and the fact that they are in tonights (Franking) game was no match for my retardation. I forgot the Capitals.
