Uni Watch wrote an article on the Blues book Note by Note. Some of you may have this. For those that don't, Uni Watch linked to a lot of great pictures from all eras of Blues history and also included some pictures of Blues prototype jerseys that never came to be. I hadn't seen many of these. Some of these are fascinating/awesome.

Enjoy.

No...not usually. I found the link on stlgametime.com and since it was Blues related, I figured I'd share.

All of those jerseys are AWFUL. I mean, in the first set, we look like we were trying to copy the early to mid-90's Canucks jerseys. The 2nd set....pink? No thank you. The last ones...maybe with some fine tuning they'd look okay, but I have to say--I'll gladly take the clown jerseys over any of those. It sure puts it into perspective.

two comments..

1. it sucks that we lost with the gretzky, hull macinnis team.
2. i remember what shanahan said when the mid 90s jerseys came out.."i feel like i can skate faster in these things"

great article.

The "Note by Note" book is a great book.
Glad I got one when they were available...can't find 'em for sale on ebay or Amazon.
