Let's Go Blues

Can't find any preview stories just yet. But if the USA loses today, they go home and the win against Canada was all for naught. I'll be streaming live on NBC.com during the game, since I'll be at work. If Hiller pulls of the game of his life, it could be trouble.

I've worked late Monday and Tuesday this week so I can take off a little earlier and watch this game. I hope I can get home before the end of the 1st period. We will see.

NBC in its wisdom is showing this game on the west coast at 3pm even though it starts at 12pm. Not sure why. So this means that the USA game will be on during the Canada/Russia game. How stupid can stupid be?

Dumb, dumb, dumb. Especially that Canada-Russia is one of the biggest hockey games in years. That is going to be EPIC.

Treat this game like you're playing Canada and USA will be fine. Play them like they're playing Burkina-Faso and it'll be a battle. I'm calling it somewhere in between.

This may be a bit overreaction seeing as over half the game has yet to be played, but until US scores their first goal, I'm growing more nervous by the second.

Wow, so close to a goal at the end of the period. Crazy play. Hiller blocks it, tips it back to himself with his stick, bounces off his shoulder, off his back, and into the net. But time was 0.0 as puck was right over the goal line. DAMN.
