How about Jonas Hiller? If he would have had any help on the offensive side of things, who knows? USA could be going home. No reason to hang his head after that performance.

i dunno, he did alright. he only had a .9767 save percentage.... I don't think he was the difference maker at all. lol

Just goes to show that if Ryan Miller is really riding a hot streak- USA can win this thing, they have enough of a scoring upside to get it done.

Switzerland has nothing to be ashamed about, they played a hell of a game and nearly sent us packing. Semi-finals or no, they did great.

Agreed. They played quite well...and Hiller was great.

However, you can also say that the Swiss were fortunate not to have a couple more goals scored on them. We hit at least two posts and had two goals called back, one because it went in 1/10th of a second after the period was over and another because of a questionable call in front of the net.
We could have easily won the game 4 or 5 to nothing as well.

Agreed, I thought we played much better than we did against Canada.


Speaking of Canada and playing better…..that was the team we were all expecting to see in this tournament.
