Finland beat the Americans 4-3 in the quarter-finals and the game that included a brawl at the buzzer in which US forward David Backes pummelled defenceman Anssi Salmela, smashing the defenceman's nose to a bloody pulp.
I don't remember seeing that but reading about it made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

That was fun. I had not seen that before. My finnish isn't very good but I pretty sure they were saying Backes is a badass the whole time.

abc I checked the Finn to English translator and Backes does mean bad ass especially after today's rematch.
Keith must have a chicken farm because he sure does lay some eggs on this site.
