It would've been utterly deflating to come out of there with only one point (or worse; none). AND, we didn't give up a point to a Western Conference team.

A regulation win = 2 points. A shootout win = 2 points.

When the extra point goes to an Eastern Conference team, who gives a crap? I'll take the 2 points, you count it as a loss if you want.

While I now very much regret not attending the game, money circumstances made attending an unwise decision. It was nice to be able to watch on the TV though, for once.

Well I guess i will eat my hat. A win is a win. I am just glad to see #21 playing this way. The last 8-9 games he has been good on the forecheck and the back check and he has been getting some points as well. I have high hopes that he will mature mentally and physically and be a stud next year. He needs to hit the weight room with EJ this off season.
