And...they've got Dan Patrick on the 101 as well as episodes of "The Wire."

What more do you need?
How about atdhe.net to watch the games for free? ;)

And...the Fox Sports networks are gone. And so am I.

Congrats, Dish. You may want to be the K-Mart of satellite TV, but I'm not interested in blue-light specials. Luckily, DTV sounds like they'll give me free NFL Network for the year for making a switch.

Not just fox sports according to an message from my companies cable product manager
Fox Cable Networks and Dish Network were unable to come to an agreement during contract negotiations. At 12 a.m. Pacific time today (2 a.m. Central), Fox pulled FX, FS Midwest and the National Geographic Channel from Dish Network’s lineup.
FS-MW was the only one I would care about but if you like any of the others, you aren't getting them now.

I get that there wanting to save cost and not have to do rate hikes but is treating your customers as pawns a good business strategy?

Per Dish web page......

"DISH Network will continue to negotiate in good faith for a fair deal with FOX to help restore the sports programming and prevent outrageous rate increases in this challenging economic environment. In the meantime, during the FOX lockout, DISH Network will make the following channels available to all affected customers at no additional charge: HD Net Movies, HD Theater, NBA TV, New England Sports Network, NFL Network, NHL Network, Altitude Sports, Big Ten Network, Comcast SportsNet California, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, Comcast Sports Network Mid-Atlantic, Comcast Sports New England, ESPN Classic, FOX Sports Northwest, FOX Sports Pittsburgh, FOX Sports Rocky Mountain, Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, Mid-Atlantic Sports Network2, SportsNet New York, and SportsTime Ohio".

Sorry...I meant the Sunday Ticket package. That wouldn't be much of a deal, would it? :)

For those thinking about switching to DirecTV, see my sig...or...
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28184

Make sure you use myself or someone else who already has DirecTV as a referral and you'll save $100.

Don't switch without referring someone...always good to save a little money. And you have to do it when you order. The discount can't be applied after the fact.

The RedZone Channel is awesome when your team has a late game or a night game. No commercials at all, shows every FG, TD, Safety, INT, fumble, etc and tries to keep you with all live action when any team is in the red zone. It's not so great during the afternoon games when there are only 3 games happening and there just is not much to jump to for constant action.
