Have we seen the last of teh Mason Jar?
In the pregame they mentioned that Mason would be in goal tomorrow Well guess today(Its 1AM lol) but after that great game by Conklin, I wouldn't think Payne would let Mason in the net but hey he is the coach not me.

You know, if I were to ban everyone who screwed up a GDT, we'd eventually have zero members.

Get it together guys. Embarrassing.

Eric Brewer would be better at starting GDT's than you people.

Because of the back-to-back games, the plan was Conklin on the road and Mason at home since conklin has been money on the road this year, and Mason is your #1. Plus Mason has played well vs. Nashville, his former team.

I'd be shocked if Conklin started today.

NHL Fanhouse has a pretty good breakdown on Janssen's fight..

Now let's take a deeper look at this video. Feel free to follow along at home.

:04 - These guys were ready to go, so much so that Letourneau-Leblond threw his gloves a good 30 feet all the way across the red line. Maybe that can be added to the skills competition at the next All-Star Game.

:18 - After river-dancing skating around and grappling for a good 20 seconds, the first punch is finally thrown. Janssen gets in a small jab with his left.

:50 - Janssen, the more experienced of the two, has been landing most of the punches thus far. At this point, Letourneau-Leblond finally lands a good one, dislodging Janssen's helmet a bit.

1:00 - Janssen momentarily loses his balance and it looks as if this fight is going to come to an end. But no, he's got the balance and we're barely halfway through. At this point, the referees need to turn this into a boxing match and send both fighters to their corners so they can catch their breath before the next round starts.

1:05 - That reminds me, the NHL needs to hire "ring girls" for fights.

1:09 - The two exchange some words. It almost seems as if Janssen is saying, "Yeah, I'm not going away anytime soon." To which Letourneau-Leblond responds, "Here's a fist for your face."

1:20 - The referees are circling like vultures now, ready to stop this fight but, impressively, neither fighter is tiring all too much.

1:28 - Janssen actually signals to the refs to keep their distance. That is awesome.

2:05 - These guys are still throwing big shots. Sean Avery would have turtled three weeks ago.

2:15 - You can tell the guys in the TV truck are out of interesting camera angles when they go to the camera directly above the fighters. Can't say I've seen that angle before.

2:43 - Janssen is the first one to lose his helmet. That took a while.

2:48 - That must have been some kind of code to end the fight, as the referees finally step in nearly three minutes later. The two fighters get a well-deserved standing ovation from their teammates and the crowd.
