I'm going to start this thread because for the first time in my life, I'm going to pull for the Coyotes. The LEE-GION is going to DEMOLISH the Dead Things on his own by scoring 30 goals on his own...in just 4 games.

Okay, maybe not. But seriously, it would be sweet, sweet, sweet justice if Detroit lost in the first round.

sucks for Phoenix, they do phenomenal down the stretch and win the 4th seed, and their reward is to play the Red Wings. Even if they win it'll be a very hard fought series.

I hate them, but I don't see Phoenix breaking their streak of losing in the playoffs to the Red Wings.

Unless Phoenix plays like Anaheim did a few years back, which would be amazing....

Every single team I have losing in the first round wins tonight.

What's worse- Backes' left nut has more playoff experience than the entire Phoenix Coyotes roster combined and they beat the defending Conference Champs in the FIRST GAME. Not that I'll ever complain about the Dead Things losing, but...

Well, to be fair...the Blues kinda owned Detroit this year.

This is just a sad statement. The Blues may have done well against Detroit this year but they're the ones still playing right now.

The 3rd PHX goal was a thing of beauty. I gotta say, for being an "underdog" (I (Franking) hate national hockey announcers), they sure are making the wings look a tad silly at times.

Some of those phoenix guys have hands like silk.

Isn't Phoenix the higher-ranked seed? And didn't Phoenix have a way more consistent season while Detroit just piled it on in the second half? It is really annoying.

It was annoying listening to XM Home Ice this morning and hear them talking about how the Coyotes have shocked the world being up 2 games to 1 against the Wings....PHOENIX IS THE F'ING HIGHER SEED!!!

Phoenix is NOT the underdog in this series.
I don't care if Franzen and some other guys were out with injuries for a chunk of the season...every team has injury issues. Phoenix has played well this season...they are the higher seed...and they shouldn't be looked at as the underdog.
