Kekalainen will be in Finland for announcement today and then return for NHL draft combine. He will run this year's draft for Blues.
Blues director of amateur scouting Jarmo Kekalainen has resigned from club to return to Finland and work as president/GM for Jokerit.

Blues executives must have been willing to accept this after naming Doug Armstrong Larry's replacement. I wonder if Kevin McDonald (Peoria GM) will replace Jarmo? Possibly the most likely candidate. Maybe the Blues promote from within their own scouting staff or they hire from outside.

Hurley would be a great replacement if he comes with picks 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42. Otherwise, I'd go for Jack. He'll fix us.
