I seriously have 0 sources, but a lot of people on facebook today have mentioned that Ribeiro has been involved in talks of going to the Blues. Nobody has given me a source yet.

Sorry to report something without a source, but if this were the case, what would you all think?

I've always been of the opinion that Ribeiro was an overpaid little bitch. That being said, the Stars are in the market for a defensemen and I can think of two defensemen on our roster that make WAY too much money right now. Although on the flip side of that arguement, Ribeiro is under contract for the next four seaons at 5 mil a year.

I could see us acquiring Ribeiro then flipping him and #14 overall to move up in the draft.

One rumor making the rounds Thursday was that Ribeiro could land in St. Louis, where former Stars GM Doug Armstrong, who acquired the center from Montreal while in Dallas, is now running the Blues. But when asked about acquiring Ribeiro, a front-office source in St. Louis said it was "unlikely."
