Seriously... something like we did with nationalpastimes would be nice, some fan contributed articles on the front page.

10 X the traffic and this requires a merger with other board(s).

I think too many bridges have been burned though and it would require a loss of power or ownership to a degree. I don't know if a compromise is possible but the powers that be would need to at least no longer retain 100% control and ownership of the merged board.

If that doesn't happen, I don't see the traffic picking up enough.

Made this a sticky so I don't have to search for the thread when I go to implement some of these things.

That's on the agenda. It would be nice to have multiple people submitting articles to get a variety of stuff.
We'll see.
I'll whore myself--

I have a regular column at BluesNetMix.com right now... I would be happy to move over to our front page here if you want me.

Crazy new suggestion-

I see all of these folks using the Twitter nowadays that get stuff posted on their page right away as a Tweet or Twat or whatever-- why not have a LGB Twitter where when new topics are posted on the site, the topic gets posted on Twitter? New people to join, new site views...

Although I don't understand the site too well, so that's on you Curt.

Good idea.
I found a plugin for the forum that is supposed to do just that.
It's on my list of things to do.

CP is too busy to accept my Facebook invite so I'm sure this would be too complicated.

Don't feel bad...there are about 20 people I haven't accepted yet.
I have a self imposed cap of 100 friends, and I am currently over the cap at 105, so I am looking to make some cuts before I add any more.
