I'm confined to a dark, damp corner of my mom's basement, surrounded by cobwebs and one flickering light bulb as I work on my Windows 95 powered pc on dial up internet.
A TRUE Man Cave!

I'm thinking that maybe Jax has been hearing about what some of those 'experts' have been saying about him as well. I wonder how he would hold up in a Canadian market?

I like what Chris Kerber had to say last night during his chat.
guest wrote:Hey Kerbs, even though there are some who do not like Brewer as captain, what do you think about the way the front office and players have stood behind him?
Chris Kerber wrote:I'm so tired of that topic, it's beyond words. Brewer is the Captain. The GM says it, theCcoach says it and players like it. That will be the last time I address that topic all year. If you don't like it so be it and get over it. He's the captain.

Tell us how you really feel, Chris. haha.

I agree with Jackman. How the hell do we know?

We don't.

I always love how fans and media comment on player's leadership skills... like any of us have any ****ing idea.

We don't.

Brewer is probably a terrific guy who is loved by all. The big problem is just that he's simply an average player at best. He doesn't have star level talent and never will. It's not like he wants to play poorly. He's not lazy or stupid.

It's not like there is some sort of switch he can throw and suddenly turn into Bobby Orr.

This is exactly why I'm so much more frustrated with Jackman. Brewer isn't that good. Jackman doesn't try and his held is seldom in the game.

Jackman has the absolute lowest level of compete on the entire team (and this is coming from Bergie's sponsor).

Clearly, teh skating backwards and ability to quickly grow a playoff beard were not weighted heavily in teh mathematical calculation.
