Pre-Season GDT #3 - Wild @ Blues 7pm - KMOX!!!

The Blues look to improve to 2-1 in the preseason when they host the Minnesota Wild on Friday night at Scottrade Center.

The puck drops at 7 p.m.

Friday's game marks the third preseason game in four nights for the Blues.

On Wednesday, the Blues defeated the Wild 5-1 at Xcel Energry Center.

The Blues got goals from five different forwards: Philip McRae, Graham Mink, Alexander Steen, David Perron and Jay McClement. Goalie Ben Bishop stopped 23 shots in the win.

Tickets are still available for Friday's game, which will be broadcast on tape delay at 11 p.m. CT on NHL Network.

The game will also be available on KMOX 1120 AM. Live streaming audio of the radio broadcast will be available at stlouisblues.com.

Looks like they're going with mostly the same lineup that lit the lamp 5 times on Wednesday.

DP played like a man possessed tonight. It was amazing. i don't know if it was just because the Wild were that bad or he has stepped his game that much but holy jumpin. Conklin looked solid, nice to know we have a solid back up. Backes and Boyes looked like they were just there, playing but not with much heart. Cole looked terrible. JR was tweeting that Cole had played well, but I didn't see it. Cool game, lots goals and fights. Hopefully they will play this great when the season starts

It felt like he played 30 minutes out there tonight. The game was awesome, expect for all the dumbasses doing the powerplay shuffle/dance/seizure. If we can get that on a regular basis from this team this season we should be pretty good.

Backes and Boyes looked like they were just there, playing but not with much heart.

Not sure where you were sitting, but Backes played with fire most of the game. The guy was getting physical, going towards the net and sticking up for his teammates when the game got chippy

Cole looked terrible.

Again, not sure what you were watching but Cole might be playing his way on to the roster. He had a couple of poor judgement plays. But he didn't allow a goal to be scored like another first round pick who shall remain nameless. I think Cole has a lot of upside and could probably use a half season in Peoria to refine his skills a bit more. But he's capable of playing with the big boys and proved it last night.

I've been at both games, and Cole was far better last night then Pie was on Tuesday....of course, that's not saying much.

I think that's why they have Pie on a line with Jackman.....so Jackman doesn't look so terrible.

They had Cole on the top line a lot last night...but I thought he looked bad also(I was at the game). He would make a good play then turn the puck right back over.
