I started watching late too. Looks like Saturday's game will be streaming too for those who won't be at Fanfest.

The Blues looked great tonight. Cole looked very solid for a rookie. I don't see how they can keep him out of the lineup (but I want Pietrangelo, too). I doubt that they'll start with two rookies.

Brewer looked solid, and used his body and made some nice hits. It's the most solid I've seen him since he was with Edmonton. I hope he can stay healthy all year.

D'Agostini looked good, too. I think The Blues will be able to score adequately. But, they still have the depth at forward issue. However, if Drazenovic can score, too, that will be solved. I'm feeling good about the team so far. The Power Play looked pretty decent, as well. I'm looking forward to their continuing to gel together as a young team. This might be a break out year (like the young Blackhawks had a couple years back).

But, I didn't like the replay of Halak's penalty shot save blacking out live play when The Blues just started on a 2 on 1 towards The Hawks' zone. We can always see replays when live play isn't going on. Missing live action is a no no.

Hey...the Blues beat the laundry that remains from the Stanley Cup champions!

With the exception for the first the period the Blues looked good. Not great, but good. Of course I would have liked to have seen the Blackhawks regulars playing not their minor league team.

I look for him to have a good year. He's due & I'm still not convinced that we've seen what he's capable of.

Agreed, that the biggest thing I took from last nights game....

Brewer looked like a different player out there.

Ya but he still can't play solid defense.

We let the only guy on the roster that could walk.

Hopefully EJ will reach that level this year.
