It's close enough (and no this isn't a GDT so don't worry).

Who is going to be there? Where ya sitting? Who will ya be with? Showing up for the pre-game festivities at 4? Who plans on getting completely sauced?

Hockey is almost back, ladies and gents. Get ready!

For me, I'll be there in section 301 with two buddies as well as Reelbluesfan. Planning on showing up to pre-game festivities. Two days later, I'll be making the two hour trip for the Columbus Day game too. Weekend full o' puck for me.

Are you saying that Reel is not a buddy? Because the way I reading that you're basically saying, "I'm going with some cool friends and I guess Reel, not a cool human being at all, is tagging along just because we felt sorry for him." I think you're doing the right thing by going in that direction; keeping him at a distance.

I'm going!! I'll be in section 124 with 5 of my friends (yes I really have a few). I'm playing golf in the morning and then hopefully going downtown to party sometime early afternoon. I'm sure I will have a beer or ten.

Can't go to the opener this year. I'll be DVR'ing the game and watching it on a couple hour delay.
The neighbor down the road throws a huge Halloween bash every year on his property for the neighborhood (he owns like 10 acres)...and it's on Saturday night.
Lots of free food and beer...a band...hayride...bonfire...etc. Friggin' awesome party.

It was like a hidden perk for moving to where we did last year.

So it will be one of those deals where I have to avoid any talk about the game so some douchebag doesn't ruin it for me.

IT will be myself, thedoc, and two other friends.

Pregame..level five parked in the southwest corner about 6 spots off the south wall heading north, large cooler, lots of beer.

Section 331 row R I believe.... Haven't seen the tickets yet though. Tailgating at the garage at 18th and Chestnut. We'll be down there for the statue and what not with a few 2x4's. Ready for the season to begin!
