I thought different markets were going to put shuffle these around differently.

I have no idea where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure the foosball game was moving to channel 3 on Charter in the St. Louis area... but don't consider that official.

I guess we'll just see on Thursday.

So much for all 80 games being in HD.

Translation: everything is more important than Blues hockey. Next week, a game will be pre-empted for an episode of "World's Worst Police Chases".

I love watching other games, especially west coast games later in the evening.

It reminds me of when my cousin had a huge satellite dish back in the day when you could get any station. We watched different NHL teams play... for free. It was unique because, at the time, if you didn't live in a team's market you NEVER got to watch their broadcast...it wasn't possible unless you had a ten foot wide satellite dish. This was before Center Ice or even DirecTV. If the satellite could pick it up, we could watch it.
Good times.

Not the case. The Blues game is being broadcast on non-HD CCIN Channel 3.

I'm not sure who to be more pissed at: FSN for bumping the local pro franchise for out of state college football or Charter for not providing an alternate HD channel like other providers in the area. Either way I'm making phone calls this morning and I suggest you do too.

#1: Jack Donovan, SVP & GM of FSN-Midwest - 314-206-7000
#2: Charter Customer Service - 1-866-438-2427

And no, I'm not changing providers immediately over something as small as this. Prob switching to U-Verse in the near future anyhow. But I am going to get fired up about it and raise a little hell.

I don't know if it's worth getting pissed. I mean, the station will make more cash from putting on football game. And surely more people probably care about the football game. It's not hard to see where they are coming from.

It pisses us off, but we are the minority.

They are still trying to accommodate both audiences as best they can. I don't think you can fault Charter either. That just seems nitpicky.

We're getting 80 of the 82 games on TV this year (a new high) and the 75 on FSMW are ALL in HD (also a new high).

I'm going to pick something else to get mad at. Like mayonnaise. That stuff is gross.

If I was going to be mad at Charter, it's because they STILL don't offer VS in HD. That is annoying.

Ok, so I got some clarification from ppl with knowledge at FSN....

The decision to bump the game to an alternate channel came from Big Fox. Apparently they've got an exclusivity clause with the Big XII that all "network" games must be shown on the main channel. So even though it's an out of market football game, it's the network broadcast and can't be changed. Nothing FSN-MW can do except provide the Blues broadcast in HD on an alternate station.

So my fury should be aimed at Charter for the incompetent ways and not FSN-MW.

I agree with KOOOS. Mayo is kinda gross and Charter needs to get VS in HD back. Also, I'm not fond of honey mustard. Somewhat of a condiment identity crisis if you ask me.

Honey Mustard is awesome. You obviously are an uncouth ne'er-do-well with the sophistication of a glue-sniffing hillbilly.

yeah no valid reason to black out a St. Louis game in the NY market.

18 days, that should give me a few more games. Nice.

Honey mustard is crap. Face it, dude. Ne'er will you see it in dishes beyond the realm of Applebee's. It was once a proud flavor, but has been relegated to the likes of Arby's and various chicken dips.

Also, I'm no glue sniffing hillbilly. It's spelled H-I-P-P-I-E.

I think you need to reevaluate a lot about your life, old Kooosy.

Well then you and KOOOS can go out on a nice little date some night to a cheap restaurant. Don't choke (on the food). 8)
