This is practice for the rest we get between sweeps in playoff rounds.

Just gives us more time to pre-drink before we start drinking in the parking garage for the next game.

The Blues do it to themselves.
The organization does not want a lot of home games in October, hoping to avoid competing with the Cardinals.
That is why you see some of the screwy Blues scheduling year after year.

If you want a better schedule, make the playoffs and become relevant as a true cup contender. Until then, you play when you are told to play and stfu.
Sincerely,
The NHL

It should be pointed out this is not a true "home and home" series since the 'Hawks are playing the Canucks tonight. Idiotic scheduling.

This is total bullshit. I'm forced to watch baseball or nothing tonight on regular TV? Thank you Directv for the Center Ice preview. That will keep me from traveling to your call center to rape your employees out of frustration.

It's frustrating even more because when our games become more frequent later on injuries will have a more severe effect. So if you're gonna get hurt, just do it now early in the season. LIKE CAMZOR!

Exactly, breaks would be great later in the year when everyone is tired and banged up.
Right now you have a young team that you are trying to teach and develop a rhythm and chemistry....this isn't helping.
The ideal situation right now would be to practically have a game every other day...play one day...watch tape of mistakes the next, back on the ice trying to improve in live actions the next, repeat.....

while this sucks for us blues fans, it's also pretty bad in Boston. The Bruins have only played 4 games. And they are about to do the Thu Sat Thu Sat Wed thing - kind of like is happening to the Blues.

All'z I know is all my Hawks buddies are chirping at me for blowing out the Blues in the standings without looking at the "GP" column first.

I've found that the best remedy for such things is throwing your buddies down the stairs. People don't like to "chirp" after that.

Which was my point in another thread.
The standings don't mean a whole lot right now because some teams have played 3 or 4 games more than others. Later in the year it's not as bad, but when some teams have played 4 games and others have played 8, that's f'd up.
