GDT: Senators at Blues 11/19/2010 7 CST (FSMW/KMOX)

I have to admit, they played pretty well tonight, but they still seemed a bit sloppy at times, which makes me nervous for future games. I never saw the Senators as a major threat to the Blues, especially after their last couple of games, but considering how much the Blues have been struggling lately, I was at the very least, concerned. I considered tonight a good test for the team, and thought if they could pull a win over Ottawa at home, then they might have a good chance of pulling through this time of injuries. Regardless, I'm very happy they got the "W", and did so with authority, despite some of the sloppy play. I thought Brewer's goal was more of a lucky shot on his part, but I'm sure the Blues will take it none the less, myself included. I still feel that Brewer is not playing up to his potential, but I was happy to see him doing his part as Captain, attempting to direct other Blues players while on the defensive. All in all I thought it was a good game. GO BLUES!
