How many of these injuries have been the result of iffy hits on our players? Practically all of them...

I say that the Blues just make an announcement before every game. If you take out one of our players, we will start spearing you full force in the face. We will seriously cave in your face. Your face will look like a pile of roast beef. People will stare at you for the rest of your life. Kids will cry when they see you. So unless you want to spend the next decade of your life getting endless rounds of reconstructive face surgery, watch your ass on the ice.

Oshie's was his fault. He went after a player and crashed to the ice. I blame him, not the Blue Jacket or the hit itself.

McDonald was a slip on the ice that happened to crash into another player. Once again, the Oiler really did nothing wrong. I hardly even consider that a hit.

I thought he injured himself on the takedown at the beginning of this video... not the hit. He was hurt by being dragged awkwardly to the ice. I don't think the columbus player was trying to hurt him or that it was a dirty play in any way, but the fact remains, Oshie was hurt after being on the bad end of hockey shenanigans gone awry.

We've lost 6 players this year to being on the bad end of a hit. How many players on other teams have we injured? Zero correct?

At least one:

RW Mikael Samuelsson will miss at least a week -- and possibly longer -- after suffering what head coach Alain Vigneault labeled a "mild concussion" late in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues. Samuelsson appeared to get hurt in a late collision with Vladamir Sobotka but didn't talk with reporters afterward.

I know because he's on one of my fantasy teams.
