When the Blues have big breaks (like 3-4+ days) between games on a road trip do they travel to the next city right away and just hang out there or do they stay where they are, go back to St. Louis, hit up Vegas, etc.?

They probably stay in St. Louis, but arrive 24+ hours in advance to counter jet lag/change in time zone etc. I'm just guessing though.

on most occassions, players return to St. Louis. It is cheaper on the team, because they don't have to pay for hotel rooms, bus transportation, ice time practices, etc on the road.

Interesting. I guess when I actually look at the schedule there aren't too many times that there are big breaks between two road games; they mainly start from a home game.

How do you think prostitution rings stay in business?

Not a dumb question. Typically they fly out the day before but due to schedule the day of. If you want to catch them in their element then I would suggest the evening before the game.

I've often considered staking out the Marriott that's just across the parking lot from Nassau Coliseum. There's no way the visiting teams don't stay there, it's just so obvious and so convenient.
It would be worth a shot to meet up with some players, or maybe a chance to tell Cam Cam he's useless to this operation.

That is where they stay...

The Ottawa Senators had to receive permission from the NHL to return to Ottawa during a road trip to attend a service for the assistant coach's daughter after she hung herself. It was explained in the article that permission was required b/c teams are generally not allowed to return to the home city during a road trip.
