I'm sure some of you have heard me bitch about that game before.
I turned it off when it was 5-0...I never turn Blues games off...ever. But I did that time because the wife wanted me to go shopping with her. I had said I'd go after the game was over, but when she saw it was 5-0 she said "It's over...let's go." I was pissed at the game anyway, so I agreed...I turned it off and went with her.
I had a portable radio with me at the store but the reception was terribly bad inside the store...lots of static...so I turned it off. I turned it on a little while later to see if I could get a final score and I thought I heard them say through the static that it was in overtime...I was like, "WTF??... That can't be right." We got back to the car and I found out they won in overtime...the greatest 3rd period comeback in NHL history.

I turned to my wife and punched her in the face.

I don't think I've turned off a game early since.

NHL Network bastards. Last night, during the Gold Medal game, NHL Network advertises Blues-Leafs at 7 pm on NHL-N. Today - they switched to Canadiens-Penguins. Ass hats.
