Who are you naming blues awards after?
Here is where you should be going:
Big George Brock award
Silvercloud award
Fontella Bass award
Henry Townsend award
Johnnie Johnson award
Oliver Sain award
Albert King award
Peetie Wheatstraw & Lonnie Johnson award
Bennie Smith award
Now that's REAL blues, not this hockey BS. The music made Saint Louis great for almost 100 years before hockey was in town. Support your team yeah. But a lot of cities have hockey. Only 2 or 3 can lay legitimate claim to being the home of blues music. Saint Louis has got something that almost no other city has, and people in other countries know Saint Louis bluesmen better than Saint Louisians. Now keep the blues alive. The real blues.
Search Wikipedia or Google for "st. louis blues"...and see what you find.
Just sayin'.
And he went all the way back to effing May for this? Did he see it then and it just took that long to craft a reply?
Sorry for the bump -- saw this in the Brewer thread and had to look it up.

Now that's REAL blues, not this hockey BS. The color that made the world great before hockey even existed. Support your team yeah. But a lot of hockey teams have colors. Only 7 or 8 can lay legitimate claim to having blue be one of those colors. Blue has got something that almost no other color has, and people in other countries know blue better than other colors.
