The St Louis Blues are 13 points away from matching their 2005-06 record.

Prior to the Pronger and Giroux injuries, I would have agreed with him about the Atlantic being right there with Phi, Pit, NYR up there and the Devils hanging around at fourth - which directly compares to Chi, Det, StL, and Nashville.

With those two injuries in Philly, though, the Flyers are in the beginning of a free-fall and could miss the playoffs if someone doesn't step up. It sounds ludicrous to say that when looking at their current record, but since the injury - Boston has beaten them 6-0, they lost to Colorado in a shootout and they looked like crap for most of the game against the Rangers tonight losing again. Yes, they beat Dallas, but Dallas is an iffy team right now, particularly in goal. 1-2-1 since those two injuries happened. I doubt they lose to Colorado if Giroux were healthy. He is the key to their offense.
