He had 4 goals and 1 assist last night. Why did we ever trade him?! This is what I'm burning about.

Because his 4 goals that night matched his previous output for the entire year.

You should probably get that checked out.
Eller now has 8 g, 9 a in 37 games which is comparable to Matt D'agostini numbers.

And before yesterday his numbers were in 4th line mucker territory.
I think it's pretty obvious now that Eller isn't going to be a star in this league. At best he's going to be a good depth guy.
We needed a goalie and we swapped him for one. The Blues have a glut of pretty good young offensive players who probably won't ever be stars. Hell, half of our forwards fall into that category.
They needed a goalie and got one.

Didn't Eric Bouginickickiouckci score 5 goals in a game for us once? Why did we ever get rid of him?

"Eller's outburst helped the Canadiens shake off the effects of a poor road trip. He scored his fourth goal of the game on a penalty shot 11 minutes into the third, spinning around to beat Chris Mason for his third tally of the period."

Eller made Chris Mason look silly, which is nice.

This post was meant as a joke. That's why I used the Jim Rome way to close it. Obviously getting Halak for Eller and a dman prospect was a lot better for us. I was just making a funny

Jim Rome sucks. Lars Eller is on a different team.

Tarasenko is going to score 4 goals a game on a daily basis when he comes to North America.

Dude put up 82 points in 42 games at Colorado College, we bring him over late at the end of the season and and in his first NHL game buries one against Patrick Roy.
Then 2004 happened...

Goal shouldn't have counted.
According to the rules, spin-o-ramas on penalty shots and in shootouts, technically, shouldn't count if the puck ends up going in.

Technically, the puck does not keep progressing forward, but the General Managers voted to allow them, cuz they're exciting.
