AMac's shoulder

Post by deadphish »

Bernie Federko said he was making the trip to FLA, not heading back to STL. I'm hoping this is a bruised shoulder? Was almost certain he had a broken collar bone at first. Get well soon, buddy.

Heading to FL should be a good sign right? I'm ok with him missing a few games. But we NEEEED Amac for the Playoffs.

Then rest AMac and give Schwartz some games in his place. Seems simple enough.

Definitely a good sign that he's staying with the team.

Assuming nothing is broken, maybe this is the best thing for this team. Force them to rest a body here and a body there and let them all be ready at 100% for the playoffs. It'll be fun to see what Schwartz can do on Saturday.

AGREED! Any injury sucks to McDonald at this point but thank God it's not another concussion.

They're saying its a shoulder contusion- he's listed as week-to-week.

Great news. No need to rush him back. The Jaden Schwartz signing is looking fairly brilliant thus far. Yea he hasn't played but we need him now.

At first I thought you said a shoulder concussion lol. I'm no doctor but sounds like great news.

Week to week means sit out the rest of the season and be ready to return at 100% for the playoffs. That is alarmingly perfect news. I was kind of hoping they'd rotate sitting some of the guys here and there just to keep them fresh for the real season anyway.

That's kind of what the Williams sisters did for years, and still do. They save it all for the majors. The other chicks are worn down and they are fresh.

Different in that wins = money, but if you have an assload of endorsements, no need to win Oklahama City for a meager payout when the US Open pays 10x as much, ya know?
