Let's Go Blues

The crap rap Blues songs that are coming out of the woodwork were annoying me.

I think I said this already in another thread, but...
I was watching an NBC game of the week a couple months ago, and it was Detroit - Chicago...I think it was the game where Franzen sucker punched a Hawk after the game and Shanahan didn't seem to care.

But as the game was going on, My 2 year old walks into the room and she hears the announcer say "something, something, blah, blah, Red Wings..."
Then my daughter looks at me and says, "They said Red Wings."
I said, "Yup...they are playing the Hawks."
Then she said, "Red Wings Suck".

I have never been more proud of her.

She says "sucks" with such vigor too. It's hilarious.

My sister in law heard her say it once, and she looked at me with horror and said, "did she just say S - U - C - K ...?"
I said, "Yup. "Red Wings Suck" is the one thing she is allowed to get away with."

She also says "God damnit"...in the proper context (she must have heard my wife or I say it once even though we watch what we say around her...she repeats everything and remembers everything). She was trying to hang a spoon up on a hook in her play kitchen and it fell and she said, "God damnit"....so yeah, we are trying to put a stop to that. It's embarrassing when company is around (but damn if it isn't funny as hell when you hear it).
