Extremely happy this series in on a different schedule then the note.

Rooting for the Yotes (obviously) but I think the Preds have this one.

Based on media coverage, it seems like Nashville is the favorite of the 4 teams remaining, followed by a tossup between the Blues and Kings, then the Yotes.

But anything can happen when your goalie's name is Elliott, Quick, Smith, or Rinne.

Phoenix takes a 1 - 0 lead in the series and the desert is (Franking) hopping!

Phoe-frankin'nix!

So (Franking) happy to see Nashville lose, especially in a game they most clearly dominated.

What have we learned tonight? Rinne is beatable.

Looking ahead or not, we've proven Rinne is beatable. No matter what happens, I don't want Nashville winning and I don't want the Rangers winning.

Higher scoring 1st game for Preds at 'Yotes, but still finished with the one-goal difference which was expected. Nashville needs to get better on faceoffs. If Nashville wins more faceoffs to keep even more pressure on the Coyotes defense, they likely wind up with a win. With the Coyotes winning most of the faceoffs, it kept breaking the pressure the Predators were bringing most of the game.

I think it's funny that what is being hyped as more or less the best goaltending matchup of all time had 7 goals in game 1. Even better that Phoenix won.

I am pretty certain we can look for some letdowns by Rinne and Smith. They have been shouldering the load and there's a good chance they'll start to falter. I hope the same goes for Quick.

Elliott is relatively well-rested.

5-3 Phoenix in Game 2. Where did these Coyotes come from?

Nashville got nothing on them. Can see frustration in how they just run up the ice, dump in and then chase around. Doan is a beast.

Nashville is, indeed, fooked. So basically, LA will be representing the west. East is up for grabs.

I actually think the Blues still have a chance to win. I think Nashville is toast because of Rinne's body language the past few games.

If the Blues just play lights out for 4 games, they win. They did it last series.

May the odds be ever in their favor, but the Blues are pretty much fvcked unless someone runs Quick a la Jamie Storr.
