But seriously, it's been awhile since I've been here. Any rumors on who the Blues may land?

Strickland (so proceed with caution) tweeted that the Blues were looking at Matt Carle. JR also says that Langenbrunner wants to remain a Blue. No mention of Arnott so I figure he's gone (though most of us assumed that awhile ago). Some good names to be had and the Blues have some money. I'm ready for 11 AM tomorrow.

Or maybe one will go to Detroit and one to Pittsburgh and then it will just be repeats of Wings-Pens every year for the Cup for the next decade.

Yeah, Pitt is a threat for either one. Doesn't seem like they have the cap space for both. Minnesota also scares me as a possible destination for Parise and Suter.

Carle is the best D-man out there after Suter. He would be nice to get.

I'm kind of cool with both of them going to Pittsburgh. It'll put a nice screeching halt to the upstart Rangers, that's for sure. Since I know we're getting neither, at least make it harder for the Rags to advance any time in the next 10 years.

I read somewhere that the Flyers might land Nash, someone who doesn't get talked about a lot.
Edit: forgot he wouldn't be a Free agent but he might be traded.
