They traded Crombeen and a 5th in 2014 for a 4th next year and the year after.

Reaves will be more effective than Crombeen this year. Good to see we got something for him, even though it is marginal.

Funny how a couple articles from local writers about the Blues moving on without him and no outside interest in the free agent market quickly drove Langenbrunner's demands down.

I don't understand why they don't just put the financials out there. It's not like we're not going to find out.

Langs - 1.25 with a very attainable .25 bonus.

1.5m isn't a terrible salary for Langenbrunner.

Happy with both of these moves.
Especially with the Nichol re-signing and Reaves playing a more important role this year, BJ was very expendable and got a nice little package out of that.
As to Langenbrunner, glad to have him around for another year at a marginal price. No complaints.

Crombeen is a good guy, but that type of player is a dime a dozen. Glad to get the picks. Good to see Langs back for the intangibles he brings.
