So...after finally getting my head out of my ass and creating the LGB Playoff Challenge Championship sigs for philco_3 and strocklen083...I went back and looked at the past winners. ...And yes, I am one of the past winners...so I am mainly doing this because I am vain and can't get enough of myself 8) ...and because there isn't much else to discuss right now.

It still burns my ass that a Wings fan won our inaugural contest.

I guess there is a decent chance we won't have a contest this year.

Sad.

I was going to change it up this year and have everyone pick the brackets all the way to the finish right off the bat (like the NCAA tournament brackets) and not do it round by round. The re-seeding may have made it weird, but that would make it easier for more folks to participate in the entire contest as we lose about half of the participants as the contest goes on due to guys either losing interest or forgetting to submit their picks.

Hopefully there is a season.

Would it diminish your excitement any if the Blues won the cup this year, and it was in a lockout shortened year?
Would that be an asterisk to you?
Not me.

A title is a title. The Cardinals in '06 are a good example.

No it just seems like a very low total. Of course the Kings had to go and screw up everyones predictions from last year.
