How is Thomas suspended? I thought he was essentially on a Sabbatical?

And Thomas for the Isles brings up a lot of interesting questions. This is a guy that lives and breathes on adversity, he will play for the Isles and hell, he might end up getting them a Cup. Don't laugh, anyone who knows this guys' history knows his story ain't over yet.

Doesn't surprise me that the Killer B's are living off Rask. He is the real deal.

Probably suspended so they don't have to pay him.. ?

I didn't think Boston had to pay him anything if he didn't play, beyond maybe some sort of retainer fee (maybe something at a minor league player cost). I don't know how this all works, though.

A Tim Thomas that refuses to play is still better than what we've got in goal at this very moment.

You mean a Brian Elliot that refuses to play?

I know we can't throw this all on him...the entire team is playing horrible....but this has honestly been the worst goal-tending (the last two games) I've seen in a Blue Note.....like ever. They can't honestly run him back out there Saturday can they?

Pucks deflecting off of defenseman and changing direction when the goalie is moving to stop the puck before the deflection are not on the goalie. And there have been way too many of those. Not to mention, only 2 defenseman trying to cover 3 guys, because one of the forwards is too lazy to go to the front of the Blues net and actually help the defense when they are working the corner. This list goes on. There might be 2 goals - total - I would lay on Elliot in these past two games.

So.....do you feel differently now after Saturday night?

Hitch certainly went out of his way to single him out in the post game presser.
