I didn't think Boston had to pay him anything if he didn't play, beyond maybe some sort of retainer fee (maybe something at a minor league player cost). Pucks deflecting off of defenseman and changing direction when the goalie is moving to stop the puck before the deflection are not on the goalie. And there have been way too many of those. Not to mention, only 2 defenseman trying to cover 3 guys, because one of the forwards is too lazy to go to the front of the Blues net and actually help the defense when they are working the corner. This list goes on. I know we can't throw this all on him...the entire team is playing horrible....but this has honestly been the worst goal-tending (the last two games) I've seen in a Blue Note.....like ever. They can't honestly run him back out there Saturday can they?
