Allen was steady as usual and happy to see him get his first shutout. And seriously, this Stewart can stick around for quite awhile. A completely different player. This looks like the guy who was here when we first traded for him.
Better than the 6-0 domination of the Red Wings on 19 Jan?
The only thing better than a 6-0 domination of the Red Wings is a 7-0 domination of the Red Wings.
As good as the Blues played in that game, the Red Wings were equally crappy. I thought in this game, the Blues completely dictated play. There wasn't a lot of open ice for the Coyotes to work, and when there was, the Blues would swarm to the puck and shut them down. Most games this year, the Blues have been content to go with the game instead of taking it over with their style of play. Not last night. Honestly, for the first time this season, the Blues played a game that reminded me of the 109 point team from last year. Hopefully they can do this consistently moving forward.

Meh close enough. Winnar!

Stewart is a man afire right now. Great win and even better that we didn't give up a one. Big confidence boost.

Dude! I had to work late, Open school night, spring version. And given my recent track record, if I'd watched the whole game they would have lost 5-3. Also, since I spent the 50 bucks for center ice, I can't really envision any situation where I'd watch the game on a tiny computer screen as opposed to my big screen in the living room.

Solution: Laptop.

Apparently, Jake Allen is only the second goalie from the province of New Brunswick to record a shutout. So huzzah!
