Unless it's completely astronomical, I would match almost any offer sheet any team could put together for Pietrangelo.

All the more reason we get him and Shattenkirk locked up before the end of the year.

You guys are making a lot of interesting points. I see Shatty and Petro getting 5 and 6 mil a year respectively. Hopefully we get it done in season to avoid offer sheet BS. Bergie should get Perron money at least (around 4 mil a year). Stewie will be interesting. Hopefully a shorter deal for 4.5 mil a year. I think A Mac will be gone unfortunately.

I can see us going after Regehr from Buffalo for a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Would you guys trade Perron and a 1st rounder for St. Louis from Tampa? Would that break our budget?
