I'm with Curt, the longer it takes before we get to the Hawks the better. Of course we also have to get to that point as well, so a premature exit from the playoffs would render it moot. I want Detroit to beat Anaheim. If Minnesota could mount a comeback against Chicago that would also certainly help matters. The events unfolding in Van/SJ are certainly working out nicely. I don't want Vancouver under any circumstances.

Vancouver isn't playing with any heart at all this year though, looking at their playoff games so far

There is no greater point against the failure of the entire Blues organization than the fact that a low-talent, depleted Flying Tires team finds ways to win playoff series, and the Blues continue to fail.

To be fair, we played 6 hard fought games against the defending Cup champions. They played a Ducks team that was a surprising 2 seed after not making the playoffs last year. Obviously, I'm biased, but I think we had the toughest draw of the first round, outside of Minny getting Chicago of course.

Shit like this makes me believe the Kings are a lock for the Cup Finals.

That sums up how I feel. I think if we drew anyone else but LA in the first round (with the possible exception of Chicago), we would have gone deep this year.

We really are the Cubs of hockey.
